Dear An: There are a variety of causes for clitoral enlargement: 1. Probably about 1in long? Found at the top of the vulva is the clitoral glans and the clitoral hood. I tried using more lubrication during sex and just in general with coconut oil due to its antifungal/antibacterial properties. I’ve had 4 outbreaks total in 2 years; 2 in one spot (inner, lower labia) and 2 in another (right above the clitoris) I’ve been through several ob/gyns in recent years (for a 2nd opinion, and also b/c my trusted long-time one relocated out of state) and several of them have looked at this and based on a visual exam stated that it was not herpes (each time my swab came back negative), but my current ob/gyn insists that it is absolutely normal and is definitely related to GHSV based on the frequency and recurrent location. How likely is this? I found some crusted by my labia and some in the crotch of my pants.
It’s still very painful but it is the only one. I’ve read up on Herpes, and while I’m completely willing to accept that it could be that, I don’t have any of the other symptoms of herpes (flu-like symptoms) besides being a bit more tired. There were no distinct lesions, no bumps, etc. Does it seem possible that it is a slow-healing abrasion leftover from a yeast infection? Anything is appreciated, I’m really concerned! ( daar bedoel ik mee als je bijvoorbeeld voor het laatst 3 maanden terug sex gehad hebt kan het nu dan pas optreden?) Ben dit vergeten te vragen aan de dokter.
